Father's Day is June 21st- Give Dad a fun and special memory this year!

This unique photography event is a great way to capture your child and watch them grow through the years. The shoot will be held this Saturday (May 16th) from eleven a.m. until four p.m. at Angelique Baby (3719 Magazine Street). No appointment is necessary. Bring your child (every age is great) and one of Dad's shirts. Feel free to accessorize in any way you'd like. I think one of Dad's hats or ties could be fun, or some of the child's own clothing (a few ideas: jeans, belts, tutus, rainboots, and hats). The kids also look great in just the shirts themselves. We'll take a few shots, and you'll be able to pick your favorite right there in the store. Your image can be printed in color, B&W, or sepia tone. There is no session fee and prints are discounted from regular pricing.

Print package choices: 2 5x7s for $40.00 ($48 value), 1 8x10 for $35.00 ($44 value), or 1 High-Res digital image jpg (Only available after the purchase of at least one print package) for $75. ($100 value)
Purchase two or more packages and receive a set of 8 wallets as lagniappe! ($22 value)

Check or cash is preferred, though we will be able to process credit cards through paypal. Prints will be delivered to Angelique Baby by June 12th and can be picked up during normal store hours (Monday through Saturday, 10-5). You'll have special and unique Father's Day gifts for everyone on your list!

Sweet Peek: Sleepy Miss Zara

This beautiful girl was "brand new" for her session. I think you can really see and feel the newness of her here. She did a great job sleeping, and was so sweet and pliable. I especially love the last shot. Zara was born into such a beautiful family; she's a lucky little girl. You can really feel the love all around her.

Well, it's been a little while since I've posted. I can not believe how fast the month of May flew by. I traveled twice to Texas and once to Alabama, attended two workshops, held the "Dress like Dad" event, met some wonderful new clients, and got to see old ones again, too. I've got lots to catch up on here, so check in often this week, as this is going to be a busy place.

The first Sweet Peek of June is this cutie pie. We had Aleksandro's session in City Park near the Peristyle. I hadn't shot there before, and was a bit wary when I saw all of the construction around. We managed to make it work well, though, and now I can't wait to go back again. Aleksandro's a happy boy, and I loved how he just tickled himself silly. Of course, Mom and Dad were great entertainers as well. Enjoy!

I've seen a lot of new ones lately. Little Miles is one month old here. He wasn't much of a sleeper, either, though we managed to get a few zzzs out of him. Big sister Lainie is very excited about her new brother. She's such a cutie, we had to get some shots of just her, too. I know Mom is anxious to see more; I'll be in touch soon with the rest of your images!

Sweet Peek: Little Miss Lawson

Today's Sweet Peek is Little Miss Lawson. This brand new beautiful girl was only 8 days old for our session. She wasn't as sleepy as we were expecting, but I still managed to get some good sleepy shots. This first image is my favorite from the session. It was the ONLY frame we got. But sometimes one is all you need. She is just simply a bundle of sweetness, isn't she? Have a great day everyone!

Well, here goes my first "Sweet Peek"- a little sneak preview for Mom to share with everyone. Today's Sweet Peek is Mason. He's such a cutie, and really on the go for such a little guy. Mom is definitely going to have her hands full as he grows! Mom is is a really good photographer in her own right, so this post is a little intimidating, but here goes...

So... . . . I've been meaning to start this blog for some time now. There are a multitude of reasons why I haven't. But this post is about the reason why I have, why I'm starting now. The simple, beautiful explanation is... I've been inspired.

I've been inspired in a way I never have before. By a living politician. Really... it's true. Never before in my lifetime, but now.

There will be pictures aplenty coming soon. And probably all kinds of random bits and pieces of my brain, too. But for now, here it is. Fresh inspiration, just for me and you.
